HSE Manager - East Bank Demerara

Futurist Investments Guyana Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the role of HSE Manager for current and upcoming opportunities supporting Guyana’s oil & gas and industrial projects. The role will support HSE activities across onshore and/or offshore assignments, with a strong focus on safe execution, quality, reliability and effective project delivery.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage HSE activities, priorities, resources and stakeholder interfaces to meet business and project objectives.
• Conduct or participate in inspections, risk assessments, toolbox talks, audits and safety observations.
• Monitor permit-to-work, JSA/JHA, PPE and control measures for assigned activities.
• Report incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions and support investigations and corrective-action close-out.
• Apply practical knowledge of HSE leadership, compliance, assurance to support safe and effective role execution.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and support emergency-preparedness and environmental controls.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification/certification: NEBOSH/degree; senior HSE credentials.
• Relevant experience: 8–15+ years.
• Demonstrated capability in HSE leadership, compliance, assurance.
• Strong understanding of company procedures, quality requirements and safe-work expectations.
• Ability to work at offshore/project locations and meet applicable medical, safety and rotation requirements.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
