Mechanical Inspector - Anna Regina

Futurist Investments Guyana Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Mechanical Inspector for current and upcoming opportunities supporting Guyana’s oil & gas and industrial projects. The role will support inspection activities across onshore and/or offshore assignments, with a strong focus on safe execution, quality, reliability and effective project delivery.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Perform or coordinate equipment and mechanical integrity inspections in accordance with approved plans and standards.
• Review drawings, specifications, inspection test plans and historical inspection records.
• Assess equipment condition, identify defects and document findings with clear recommendations.
• Verify repair, testing and close-out activities and maintain traceable inspection records.
• Apply practical knowledge of Equipment inspection, integrity to support safe and effective role execution.
• Ensure inspection activities comply with HSE requirements and applicable codes/certifications.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification/certification: Engineering/inspection qualification.
• Relevant experience: 3–8+ years.
• Demonstrated capability in Equipment inspection, integrity.
• Strong understanding of HSE, permit-to-work and safe-work practices relevant to the assigned role.
• Ability to work at offshore/project locations and meet applicable medical, safety and rotation requirements.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
