Rigger - Linden

Futurist Investments Guyana Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Rigger for current and upcoming opportunities supporting Guyana’s oil & gas and industrial projects. The role will support offshore services activities across onshore and/or offshore assignments, with a strong focus on safe execution, quality, reliability and effective project delivery.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assigned offshore lifting, rigging, access or deck-support activities safely and efficiently.
• Inspect tools, lifting accessories or work equipment before use and report defects immediately.
• Follow approved lift plans, method statements, signals and supervisor instructions.
• Maintain safe work areas and support efficient movement and positioning of materials/equipment.
• Apply practical knowledge of Lifting, rigging, lifting plans to support safe and effective role execution.
• Comply with offshore HSE, work-at-height, dropped-object and emergency procedures.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification/certification: Rigger certification / offshore training.
• Relevant experience: 1–5+ years.
• Demonstrated capability in Lifting, rigging, lifting plans.
• Strong understanding of HSE, permit-to-work and safe-work practices relevant to the assigned role.
• Ability to work at offshore/project locations and meet applicable medical, safety and rotation requirements.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
