Futurist Investments Guyana Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Senior Operations Cost Controller for current and upcoming opportunities supporting Guyana’s oil & gas and industrial projects. Key focus areas include monitor operating costs, reporting, forecasts and controls for operations. The successful candidate should demonstrate strong safety awareness, technical competence and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor operational costs, budgets, commitments, forecasts and financial performance.
- Prepare periodic cost reports, variance analysis and management information.
- Coordinate with operations, procurement and finance teams to validate cost data and accruals.
- Track purchase orders, invoices and expenditure against approved budgets.
- Apply practical knowledge of Cost control, Excel/ERP, reporting to support safe and effective role execution.
- Maintain robust controls, audit trails and accurate data within approved ERP/reporting systems.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification/certification: Finance/accounting/engineering.
- Relevant experience: 5+ years.
- Demonstrated capability in Cost control, Excel/ERP, reporting.
- Strong understanding of company procedures, quality requirements and safe-work expectations.
- Ability to work at assigned project locations in Guyana and adapt to operational priorities.
- Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
