API Inspector - Georgetown

Futurist Investments Guyana Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the role of API Inspector for current and upcoming opportunities supporting Guyana’s oil & gas and industrial projects. The role will support inspection activities across onshore and/or offshore assignments, with a strong focus on safe execution, quality, reliability and effective project delivery.

Location: Guyana – Georgetown and/or offshore project locations, depending on assignment
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-service inspection and condition assessment of pressure vessels, piping and/or storage tanks within the scope of held API certifications.
• Review inspection history, thickness data, corrosion rates, repair records and relevant drawings.
• Apply applicable API codes and acceptance criteria to evaluate equipment integrity and remaining life.
• Prepare clear inspection reports, recommendations and repair/monitoring actions.
• Coordinate NDT, maintenance and repair verification with relevant project stakeholders.
• Maintain certification, traceability and HSE compliance throughout inspection activities.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification/certification: API 510/570/653 as relevant.
• Relevant experience: 3–8+ years.
• Demonstrated capability in Pressure equipment/piping/tanks.
• Strong understanding of HSE, permit-to-work and safe-work practices relevant to the assigned role.
• Ability to work at offshore/project locations and meet applicable medical, safety and rotation requirements.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
