Commissioning Supervisor - Bartica

Futurist Investments Guyana Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Commissioning Supervisor for current and upcoming opportunities supporting Guyana’s oil & gas and industrial projects. The role will support commissioning activities across onshore and/or offshore assignments, with a strong focus on safe execution, quality, reliability and effective project delivery.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate commissioning activities, personnel and daily work execution in line with project requirements.
• Review commissioning procedures, system boundaries, punch lists and readiness documentation.
• Coordinate with construction, operations, vendors and discipline teams to achieve safe system handover.
• Identify technical issues during testing and drive timely troubleshooting and close-out.
• Apply practical knowledge of Mechanical/electrical commissioning to support safe and effective role execution.
• Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with approved procedures, permits and HSE requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification/certification: Technical/engineering qualification.
• Relevant experience: 5–10+ years.
• Demonstrated capability in Mechanical/electrical commissioning.
• Strong understanding of HSE, permit-to-work and safe-work practices relevant to the assigned role.
• Ability to work at offshore/project locations and meet applicable medical, safety and rotation requirements.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
