Instrumentation Engineer - Linden

Futurist Investments Guyana Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Instrumentation Engineer for current and upcoming opportunities supporting Guyana’s oil & gas and industrial projects. The role will support instrumentation activities across onshore and/or offshore assignments, with a strong focus on safe execution, quality, reliability and effective project delivery.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide instrumentation engineering support for control, measurement and safety systems.
• Review instrument datasheets, loop drawings, cause-and-effect diagrams and vendor documentation.
• Support calibration, testing, troubleshooting and commissioning of field instruments and control loops.
• Coordinate interfaces with process, electrical, control-system and maintenance teams.
• Apply practical knowledge of DCS, PLC, SIS to support safe and effective role execution.
• Maintain technical records and ensure compliance with hazardous-area, HSE and applicable engineering standards.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification/certification: Instrumentation/Control Engineering.
• Relevant experience: 3–8+ years.
• Demonstrated capability in DCS, PLC, SIS, control systems.
• Strong understanding of HSE, permit-to-work and safe-work practices relevant to the assigned role.
• Ability to work at offshore/project locations and meet applicable medical, safety and rotation requirements.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
