Operations Engineer - Mc Doom

Futurist Investments Guyana Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Operations Engineer for current and upcoming opportunities supporting Guyana’s oil & gas and industrial projects. Key focus areas include engineering and operational support for mechanical/offshore service activities. The successful candidate should demonstrate strong safety awareness, technical competence and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide discipline engineering support for operational, maintenance and project activities.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, calculations, procedures and vendor documentation.
• Investigate technical issues, develop practical solutions and support safe field implementation.
• Coordinate engineering interfaces with operations, maintenance, construction, vendors and project teams.
• Apply practical knowledge of Mechanical, operations, project execution to support safe and effective role execution.
• Maintain accurate engineering records and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and HSE requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification/certification: Engineering degree.
• Relevant experience: 3–8+ years.
• Demonstrated capability in Mechanical, operations, project execution.
• Strong understanding of company procedures, quality requirements and safe-work expectations.
• Ability to work at assigned project locations in Guyana and adapt to operational priorities.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
