Cost Engineer - Diamond

Futurist Investments Guyana Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Cost Engineer for current and upcoming opportunities supporting Guyana’s oil & gas and industrial projects. The role will support EPC activities across onshore and/or offshore assignments, with a strong focus on safe execution, quality, reliability and effective project delivery.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Support engineering, procurement and construction delivery across scope, cost, schedule, quality and interfaces.
• Review project specifications, drawings, schedules, vendor documents and technical deliverables.
• Coordinate with discipline engineers, procurement, construction, contractors and client representatives.
• Track progress, risks, changes, actions and technical queries and support timely resolution.
• Apply practical knowledge of Cost forecasting, earned value to support safe and effective role execution.
• Ensure project activities comply with contract requirements, applicable standards and HSE expectations.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification/certification: Engineering/Finance/Cost Control.
• Relevant experience: 3–8+ years.
• Demonstrated capability in Cost forecasting, earned value.
• Strong understanding of company procedures, quality requirements and safe-work expectations.
• Ability to work at offshore/project locations and meet applicable medical, safety and rotation requirements.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
