IT Analyst - Georgetown

Futurist Investments Guyana Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the role of IT Analyst for current and upcoming opportunities supporting Guyana’s oil & gas and industrial projects. The role will support IT activities across onshore and/or offshore assignments, with a strong focus on safe execution, quality, reliability and effective project delivery.

Location: Guyana – Georgetown and/or offshore project locations, depending on assignment
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide reliable support for IT systems, applications, networks, data and user services.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents, service requests and technical issues within agreed priorities.
• Maintain system documentation, asset records, access controls, backups and change records.
• Support cybersecurity, patching, monitoring and compliance requirements.
• Apply practical knowledge of Infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity to support safe and effective role execution.
• Follow company information-security, data-protection and HSE requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification/certification: IT degree.
• Relevant experience: 2–6+ years.
• Demonstrated capability in Infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity.
• Strong documentation, computer literacy and attention to detail, with the ability to work to deadlines.
• Ability to work at offshore/project locations and meet applicable medical, safety and rotation requirements.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
