IT / Security Project Manager - Georgetown

Futurist Investments Guyana Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the role of IT / Security Project Manager for current and upcoming opportunities supporting Guyana’s oil & gas and industrial projects. Key focus areas include manage IT/security projects, scope, delivery and stakeholder coordination. The successful candidate should demonstrate strong safety awareness, technical competence and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage security / IT activities, priorities, resources and stakeholder interfaces to meet business and project objectives.
• Define scope, schedule, resources, risks, dependencies and stakeholder requirements.
• Coordinate technical teams, vendors and business stakeholders to deliver agreed outcomes.
• Track progress, budget, issues, changes and project documentation and provide regular status reports.
• Apply practical knowledge of Project management, IT/security to support safe and effective role execution.
• Lead testing, handover and post-implementation follow-up while maintaining HSE and data-security standards.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification/certification: IT/project management.
• Relevant experience: 5+ years.
• Demonstrated capability in Project management, IT/security.
• Strong documentation, computer literacy and attention to detail, with the ability to work to deadlines.
• Ability to work at assigned project locations in Guyana and adapt to operational priorities.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
