Futurist Investments Guyana Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Onshore Maintenance Engineer for current and upcoming opportunities supporting Guyana’s oil & gas and industrial projects. Key focus areas include plan and support onshore maintenance, reliability and equipment performance. The successful candidate should demonstrate strong safety awareness, technical competence and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform or support preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned equipment and systems.
- Inspect, troubleshoot and repair faults using approved procedures, tools and technical documentation.
- Execute work orders through the CMMS and provide clear completion and equipment-condition records.
- Support reliability, root-cause and continuous-improvement activities to reduce downtime.
- Apply practical knowledge of Maintenance planning, reliability, HSE to support safe and effective role execution.
- Comply with LOTO, permit-to-work, HSE and applicable technical standards at all times.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification/certification: Engineering degree; maintenance experience.
- Relevant experience: 3–8+ years.
- Demonstrated capability in Maintenance planning, reliability, HSE.
- Strong understanding of HSE, permit-to-work and safe-work practices relevant to the assigned role.
- Ability to work at assigned project locations in Guyana and adapt to operational priorities.
- Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
