Process Engineer - Madewini Creek

Futurist Investments Guyana Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Process Engineer for current and upcoming opportunities supporting Guyana’s oil & gas and industrial projects. The role will support production activities across onshore and/or offshore assignments, with a strong focus on safe execution, quality, reliability and effective project delivery.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Support safe and efficient production or process operations for assigned facilities.
• Monitor process performance, operating parameters and production constraints and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support troubleshooting, optimisation, start-up, shutdown and operational-readiness activities.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, laboratory and engineering teams to resolve production issues.
• Apply practical knowledge of Process simulation, HYSYS, production optimisation to support safe and effective role execution.
• Ensure process-safety, permit-to-work, environmental and HSE requirements are applied.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification/certification: Chemical/Process Engineering.
• Relevant experience: 3–8+ years.
• Demonstrated capability in Process simulation, HYSYS, production optimisation.
• Strong understanding of HSE, permit-to-work and safe-work practices relevant to the assigned role.
• Ability to work at offshore/project locations and meet applicable medical, safety and rotation requirements.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
