Production Technician - Eccles

Futurist Investments Guyana Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Production Technician for current and upcoming opportunities supporting Guyana’s oil & gas and industrial projects. Key focus areas include operate and monitor FPSO production systems safely and efficiently. The successful candidate should demonstrate strong safety awareness, technical competence and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor or coordinate assigned production, subsea or wellsite systems safely and efficiently.
• Follow approved operating procedures, checklists and work instructions during routine and non-routine activities.
• Monitor equipment condition and process parameters and respond appropriately to alarms or deviations.
• Coordinate with maintenance, engineering and field-service teams during interventions and troubleshooting.
• Apply practical knowledge of Process operations, HSE, permit to work to support safe and effective role execution.
• Comply with HSE, permit-to-work, isolation and emergency-response requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification/certification: Technical diploma; offshore training.
• Relevant experience: 2–6+ years.
• Demonstrated capability in Process operations, HSE, permit to work.
• Strong understanding of HSE, permit-to-work and safe-work practices relevant to the assigned role.
• Ability to work at offshore/project locations and meet applicable medical, safety and rotation requirements.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
