ROV Pilot Technician - Georgetown

Futurist Investments Guyana Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the role of ROV Pilot Technician for current and upcoming opportunities supporting Guyana’s oil & gas and industrial projects. The role will support subsea activities across onshore and/or offshore assignments, with a strong focus on safe execution, quality, reliability and effective project delivery.

Location: Guyana – Georgetown and/or offshore project locations, depending on assignment
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Pilot and maintain ROV systems during subsea inspection, intervention and construction activities.
• Perform pre-dive checks, launch/recovery support and fault diagnosis on ROV equipment.
• Operate cameras, sonar, manipulators and tooling in accordance with approved procedures.
• Record subsea observations, inspection data and dive logs accurately.
• Coordinate with the ROV supervisor, vessel crew and subsea/project teams during operations.
• Comply with offshore electrical, lifting, marine and HSE requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification/certification: ROV certification / offshore medical.
• Relevant experience: 2–6+ years.
• Demonstrated capability in ROV systems, subsea inspection.
• Strong understanding of HSE, permit-to-work and safe-work practices relevant to the assigned role.
• Ability to work at offshore/project locations and meet applicable medical, safety and rotation requirements.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
