Electrical Engineer - La Parfaite Harmonie

Futurist Investments Guyana Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Electrical Engineer for current and upcoming opportunities supporting Guyana’s oil & gas and industrial projects. The role will support electrical activities across onshore and/or offshore assignments, with a strong focus on safe execution, quality, reliability and effective project delivery.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering or supervisory support for installation, maintenance and project activities.
• Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, specifications, calculations and vendor documentation.
• Support testing, energisation, fault finding and safe isolation of electrical equipment and systems.
• Coordinate field work involving power distribution, motors, generators and hazardous-area equipment as applicable.
• Apply practical knowledge of Power systems, ETAP, hazardous area to support safe and effective role execution.
• Ensure work is completed under approved permits, LOTO procedures, standards and HSE requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification/certification: Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant experience: 3–8+ years.
• Demonstrated capability in Power systems, ETAP, hazardous area.
• Strong understanding of HSE, permit-to-work and safe-work practices relevant to the assigned role.
• Ability to work at offshore/project locations and meet applicable medical, safety and rotation requirements.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
