IT/OT Security Engineer - Linden

Futurist Investments Guyana Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the role of IT/OT Security Engineer for current and upcoming opportunities supporting Guyana’s oil & gas and industrial projects. The role will support IT activities across onshore and/or offshore assignments, with a strong focus on safe execution, quality, reliability and effective project delivery.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Protect industrial IT/OT environments including control-system networks, servers, endpoints and interfaces.
• Assess vulnerabilities, security architecture, access controls and network segmentation for ICS/SCADA environments.
• Support security monitoring, incident response, patching and change management while preserving operational availability.
• Coordinate with control-system, network, vendor and operations teams on secure deployments and troubleshooting.
• Maintain cybersecurity documentation, asset inventories, risk registers and technical standards.
• Apply relevant cyber policies and recognised industrial-security practices to project and operational systems.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification/certification: Cybersecurity/IT/OT.
• Relevant experience: 3–8+ years.
• Demonstrated capability in ICS/SCADA security, network security.
• Strong documentation, computer literacy and attention to detail, with the ability to work to deadlines.
• Ability to work at offshore/project locations and meet applicable medical, safety and rotation requirements.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
