Welding Inspector - Providence

Futurist Investments Guyana Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Welding Inspector for current and upcoming opportunities supporting Guyana’s oil & gas and industrial projects. The role will support quality activities across onshore and/or offshore assignments, with a strong focus on safe execution, quality, reliability and effective project delivery.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Implement or support project QA/QC requirements, inspection plans and quality procedures.
• Review drawings, specifications, ITPs, WPS/PQRs or other quality documents relevant to the discipline.
• Perform or witness inspections and tests and verify compliance with acceptance criteria.
• Raise and track NCRs, punch items and corrective actions through effective close-out.
• Apply practical knowledge of Welding inspection, WPS/PQR to support safe and effective role execution.
• Promote right-first-time execution while maintaining HSE and project schedule requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification/certification: CSWIP/AWS/ASNT or equivalent.
• Relevant experience: 3–8+ years.
• Demonstrated capability in Welding inspection, WPS/PQR.
• Strong understanding of HSE, permit-to-work and safe-work practices relevant to the assigned role.
• Ability to work at offshore/project locations and meet applicable medical, safety and rotation requirements.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
