Futurist Investments Guyana Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Maintenance Planner for current and upcoming opportunities supporting Guyana’s oil & gas and industrial projects. The role will support maintenance activities across onshore and/or offshore assignments, with a strong focus on safe execution, quality, reliability and effective project delivery.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Perform or support preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned equipment and systems.
- Inspect, troubleshoot and repair faults using approved procedures, tools and technical documentation.
- Execute work orders through the CMMS and provide clear completion and equipment-condition records.
- Support reliability, root-cause and continuous-improvement activities to reduce downtime.
- Apply practical knowledge of CMMS, SAP/Maximo, planning to support safe and effective role execution.
- Comply with LOTO, permit-to-work, HSE and applicable technical standards at all times.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification/certification: Technical/Engineering qualification.
- Relevant experience: 3–8+ years.
- Demonstrated capability in CMMS, SAP/Maximo, planning.
- Strong understanding of HSE, permit-to-work and safe-work practices relevant to the assigned role.
- Ability to work at offshore/project locations and meet applicable medical, safety and rotation requirements.
- Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
