Measurement Technician - Anna Regina

Futurist Investments Guyana Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Measurement Technician for current and upcoming opportunities supporting Guyana’s oil & gas and industrial projects. Key focus areas include perform measurement, calibration and field technical services. The successful candidate should demonstrate strong safety awareness, technical competence and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Perform calibration, verification and maintenance of measurement and instrumentation systems.
• Use approved test equipment and procedures to check instrument accuracy and functional performance.
• Troubleshoot measurement issues and support corrective maintenance and equipment replacement.
• Maintain calibration certificates, test records and equipment histories.
• Coordinate with operations and engineering teams to minimise process disruption during work.
• Comply with permit-to-work, isolation, quality and HSE requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification/certification: Instrumentation/measurement qualification.
• Relevant experience: 2–6+ years.
• Demonstrated capability in Calibration, measurement, instrumentation.
• Strong understanding of HSE, permit-to-work and safe-work practices relevant to the assigned role.
• Ability to work at assigned project locations in Guyana and adapt to operational priorities.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
